These next four photos show a pride of lions, led by the dominant male, attacking and killing a mature cape buffalo in the Okavango Delta. The cycle of life.

Damaraland in northwest Namibia is wild and undeveloped with large herds of indigeneous animals.   Koakoveld in northwest Namibia is wild and undeveloped with large herds of indigeneous animals.   Welwitchia is one of the oldest plants on earth, living for more than 1000 years.. It is found only in the Namib Desert from southern Namibia to Southern Angola. The best specimens are found in Namibia.   Epupa falls is on the Kunene River on the border of Namibia and Angola.

The desert Elephant is found only in Namibia and has been the subject of several Nat Geo specials.   Namibia's Messum Crater is a vast and remote area with many beautiful campsites and has some of the oldest and best specimens of Welwitchia anywhere.   Elephant taking a mud bath in Etosha Park, Namibia.

Black Faced Impala are common in Etosha NP of Namibia. They are indigenous to northern Namibia and southern Angola. Inter-breeding with the common or southern Impala, (introduced into Namibia), are considered to be a threat to the species.   Leopard as well as all the other cats, are found in great numbers in Moremi GR, Botswana.   Example of a mobile safari camp in Moremi GR, Botswana.   This Water Monitor was caught sunning on the banks of the Chobe River, Botswana.

Chamaleon in the Namib Desert south of Swakopmund, Namibia. This sighting was made while on a day trip with Tommy's Tours.   Mobile camp in Moremi GR, Botswana.     The Zambezi Sun Hotel in Livingstone, Zambia is located withing walking distance of the Victoria Falls on the Zambezi River.

  Baines Baobabs is located in the Nxai Pan in Botswana. It is a grove of Baobabs located on the edge of a large salt pan.   These Himba women were photographed on a mobile safari in northwest Namibia. They were excited about being able to actually seeing their photos on my digital camera.   These rock carvings are common throughout Namibia. These were located at a sight on a farm near Kamanjab, Namibia.

This Himba herdsman was in Damaraland of Namibia. He is digging in dry river bed in order to water his cattle.   These male lions were photographed early one morning 50 meters in front of a remote Okavango camp. They had killed this cape buffalo during the night wakeing the entire camp with their roars. It doesn't get any better than that!!
